ACHILLES’ HEEL

A tribute to feet in Classic Art and the myth of Achilles’ heel. The fact that the same word is used for the high heel in a shoe and the back bart of the foot in anatomy is used as a humorous link turning the sandal’s heel into a foot, and this foot’s heel would be in the same place as the wearer’s anatomycal heel. It is made by hand with reused materials and the foot-heel is casted with plaster inside a rescued dog toy in the shape of a rubber foot. An exercise in surrealist object making that achieves a non wearable shoe, made only with artistic purposes and try to make the viewer smile.
