Lucky Charms
A special project for three very special friends: customizing three pairs of Converse low top white canvas sneakers. The theme of the collection is honoring them as my “lucky charms”, three people that I know bring me good luck and make me a better person when I am around them.
Therefore, plenty of UPCYCLED and RECYCLED hardware bits including Mother of Pearl four-leave clovers and crystal hearts are attached to the upper with the help on disregarded and out-of-stock lace trims hand stitched to the canvas. Metallic paint and ink are used to give the final details as well as buttons that used to belong to my mother and great my mother. Because these three girls, like them, are my family.
