READY MADE chairs
A fun experiment playing with Rhino’s 3D software. It is know to be used for furniture and interior design, with its fun textures to apply all over, so it made sense to explore how furniture and shoes could meet. Thankfully, the internet has infinite resources of 3D already made models, such as all these iconic and historical chairs. Each one of them is used as the heel on a simple two-strap sandal, that changes colors and materials matching the piece’s aesthetic. Some kind of digital and virtual upcycling by repurposing chairs as heels in a very direct way. Special thanks to thingiverse.com’s archive of material for the ready made chairs.
